OUR PHILOSOPHY OF NURSERY EDUCATION
feeding the babyIt is our wish that Queen Ethelburga's Kindergarten should provide an atmosphere of emotional warmth, and be sensitive to the individuality of each child. We believe this will ensure that each child is recognised and develops to their full potential.
Queen's Kindergarten puts children in control of their own learning by allowing them to make choices through structured and free play activities. We fully encourage and prepare children for life transitions by placing learning in a meaningful context.
We aim to meet the desirable learning outcomes of the early year's curriculum with a partnership relationship.
Queen's Kindergarten provides clear lines of communication and links with the children's learning positively.
We strongly recognise the need to record accurately the children's development progress and convey regular feedback to parents.
An equal opportunities policy will be upheld at all times so that no child or families experience discrimin
atory practice.
