In recent years we have seen a pleasing increase in the numbers of junior boys and girls who live with us during term time. We accept children as boarders from around 5 years of age and upwards. (Lower ages may be possible in exceptional circumstances)

Why does this option work these days for so many parents and children? Our house parents and our accommodation ensure a caring, loving, friendly and homely atmosphere.

Girls live in Benedict House and boys in Abbey Chambers. Our boarding accommodation is thought by many to be probably the very best and highest quality there is, in the UK and even Europe. For the past eighty years we have successfully cared for children living at school with us, so believe us when we say we know what we are doing.

There is a strong sense of family spirit, much of it finding a focal point in the kitchen and lounges, all with cooking facilities, which welcome every kind of gathering. House parents are often to be found in the kitchen with girls and boys cooking buns or making toffee.
